During my recent trip to Chicago, I had the pleasure of staying at the Courtyard By Marriott at the Medical District-UIC. Conveniently located just a short stroll from United Credit Union, where I attended an André Rieu concert, this hotel offered cleanliness and modernity without pretension. The complimentary shuttle service provided seamless access to the nearby University of Illinois and medical facilities, which was a significant plus for our itinerary. The standout feature of this stay was the valet service—exceptional in both friendliness and attentiveness. The staff consistently went above and beyond, ensuring our comfort throughout our time there. The spacious guest rooms were a welcome retreat after a day of exploring, equipped with luxurious bedding, a mini-fridge for ice packs, and streaming options like Netflix that kept us entertained in the evenings. Each morning, we enjoyed hearty breakfasts at the Bistro, savoring the inviting atmosphere over rich coffee—not to mention the delightful cocktails at Rooks Bar for a nightcap. This hotel delivered a comforting blend of convenience and hospitality, making for a memorable Chicago experience that I would gladly revisit with my traveling companion.
